Fabrizio Romano says there’s no way Chelsea will be signing ‘world class’ player now

Chelsea definitely won’t be signing Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala this summer.

That is according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

There’s been speculation this week that suggests Jamal Musiala, 20, is a potential transfer target for Chelsea during this window.

The Secret Scout recently reported on X that Bayern star Musiala is an individual Chelsea would love to sign.

However, it doesn’t sound like the attacking midfielder will be on his way to Stamford Bridge in the next few days.

Romano has reported on Wednesday afternoon that Musiala is an “impossible” signing for Chelsea to make now with just a few days left in the transfer window.

The Germany international is considered out of reach for the Blues despite the fact he once played in their academy at Cobham.

Romano told his YouTube channel: “We heard many names, some were absolutely impossible like Musiala. It’s something Chelsea never considered this summer because it was impossible to go for him.”

It did seem pretty far-fetched when Musiala’s name came up in the transfer rumour mill with Chelsea, but you just can’t rule anything out under this ownership at Stamford Bridge.

Our concern is that the Bayern star’s valuation is going to keep going up and up as he develops in Munich.

He’s had some crowning moments already in Bayern colours, which includes scoring a title-winning goal in the final game of last season.

However, at the age of 20, there’s still so much more to come from him.

This Chelsea side could really do with an advanced midfielder that can chip in with goals and assists to help release pressure on the forwards.
