Figures at Chelsea seem to be in agreement about one player as the club consider strengthening their backline even further.
Chelsea have already signed Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham to bolster their defence.
Adarabioyo joined the club earlier this month after reaching the end of his contract at Craven Cottage.
The Blues are also trying to improve their attack. It has been reported that they are targeting Atletico Madrid centre-forward Samu Omorodion.
However, they may not be done with their backline yet as they weigh up bringing in a new goalkeeper this summer.

How Chelsea feel about one goalkeeper
According to Fabrizio Romano, Enzo Maresca really likes Robert Sanchez and has let the Chelsea board know that.
As well as Sanchez, Maresca will also have the chance to work with Djordje Petrovic, who finished last season as the Blues’ first-choice goalkeeper.
It does not look like Chelsea signing a new shot-stopper can be ruled out, though.
Journalist Simon Phillips recently claimed that the club are looking at their former player Marcin Bulka and that they believe the Nice star would be a “top option” if it is decided that another goalkeeper is needed.
On Substack, he wrote: “Chelsea are still eyeing new goalkeepers, and SPTC sources have confirmed other reports that former stopper Marcin Bulka is one being looked at. Many are in agreement at Chelsea that Bulka would be a top option should they wish to sign a new stopper this summer.”
Marcin Bulka could be an upgrade on Robert Sanchez
Right now, it looks like Chelsea will go into the new season with Sanchez as their No.1.
However, if they do decide to sign Bulka, he could be an upgrade on the Spaniard.
As per FBref, the 24-year-old kept the most clean sheets in Ligue 1 last season (17) and had a save percentage of 77.1%. Only three goalkeepers outperformed him in that statistic. Sanchez’s, on the other hand, was 70.5%.
Described as a “hard-working boy” by former manager Francesco Farioli, Bulka returning to Stamford Bridge this summer would not be a bad thing.
