Endrick’s representative has hinted that his client could move before the Chelsea-linked wonderkid is actually allowed to do so.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Frederico Pena did not rule out an early transfer for the Palmeiras boy wonder.
Teenage kicks
Eyes from across Europe have been directed towards the 15-year-old, following his performances at the Copa Sao Paulo, Brazil’s elite youth tournament.
He netted five goals on route to the final, including a quite incredible bicycle kick that had Gary Lineker excitedly tapping away on his keyboard.
In the showpiece event against Santos, Endrick scored his sixth of the competition as Palmeiras won 4-0.
Understandably, the tantalising teenager earned the title of the most valuable player of the Copinha.
Scouts from some clubs were lucky enough to witness this emerging star in the flesh, as they travelled to Brazil to witness the hype.
Chelsea chasing Endrick
Amongst the attentive pack was Chelsea who, according to Sky Sports, have a ‘very good chance’ of signing Endrick along with Manchester City.
However, neither Premier League side can acquire his services until he turns 16 in July.
Even then, he must be 18 before transferring over to Europe.
Whilst the Champions League holders may have to wait patiently at the front door, Pena left the entrance slightly ajar for Endrick to possibly squeeze out of.
“There’s nothing much happening right now,” said the player’s agent, who also looks after Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr and Gabriel Martinelli of Arsenal.
“How would we be able to sell a player who can only leave in 2024?
“We’ve never seen someone negotiated two years before he can actually move, but obviously there’s a first time for everything and he can become the first one.”
