Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has claimed that Ross Barkley is in his plans at Stamford Bridge and that he doesn’t expect him to exit in the January transfer window.
The Mirror have reported that Premier League and London rivals West Ham have targeted a January move for Barkley.

It is claimed that West Ham manager David Moyes wants to make a loan bid for the 26-year-old to take him to the London Stadium for the rest of the season.
But the report details that so far the Blues are refusing to let the England international depart and view him in their senior plans.

Lampard has confirmed that he’s still got faith in the midfielder and stated there is no transfer talk regarding him.
“There is no talk here of Barkley going anywhere, I have a lot of belief in Ross,” Lampard said, as quoted by Football.London.

Lampard has made it fairly concrete that Barkley will be remaining with Chelsea this month and he’ll continue with the battle to try break into the side on a regular basis.
Despite being on the fringes for much of the season, Barkley has played in back-to-back matches for the Blues and seems to be back in favour.
The creative playmaker on his day can be a serious goal threat and he needs to have a strong next few months to be in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for this summer’s European Championships.
He’s capable of the spectacular when in form and just needs to find some consistency, but it will be intriguing to see if he gets the nod to start on Saturday against Newcastle United.
