Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has completed a loan move to rivals Fulham – and some of their fans on Twitter are excited about the signing.
The Blues confirmed on their official website that the 24-year-old has joined Premier League and London rivals Fulham for the entire 2020/21 season.
Loftus-Cheek started the opening day of the Premier League season in Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Brighton, but hasn’t featured in a matchday squad since and slipped down the pecking order under manager Frank Lampard.
The central midfielder is a big favourite wth many Blues fans due to the fact he came through the academy at a younger age and on his day is a special talent.

Despite his clear potential, the Englishman has had injuries disrupt his career so far and a long-term layout from an Achilles problem saw him miss most of the previous season.
He will now be searching regular first-team action with newly-promoted side Fulham, who are managed by Scott Parker and try to play an attacking style of football.
Fulham sit bottom of the league table with four defeats from four, but they have strengthened in the transfer window and it looks a great challenge for Loftus-Cheek to try stick his teeth into.
A selection of Fulham fans on social media are delighted to have capture Loftus-Cheek on loan and believe he could be huge for them.
Here are some Fulham fans discussing him:
