Danny Murphy has claimed to TalkSPORT that Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk has the potential to become a superstar.
The 22-year-old has joined the club as part of a huge January overhaul, with particular interest shown in strengthening the frontline.
They have been desperately struggling for goals this season, despite the summer additions of proven Premier League scorers Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Noni Madueke and Joao Felix have also been brought in last month, with the potential that a completely new look attack could be on show at Stamford Bridge.
Mudryk has already made his debut for the club against Liverpool. He impressed a lot off the bench despite the 0-0 scoreline.
Murphy has claimed he has seen the potential in the youngster, claiming he could become a star in the future.
Murphy backs Mudryk to be a star
He said: “He’s a good player but he’s not a goalscorer or creative so you won’t see loads of new goals come from midfield, he’s not a Frank Lampard type, he more sits in there and dictates play.
“Mudryk is another, he could be a superstar somewhere down the line.
“But what you are talking about if you’re going to spend hundreds of millions is that you want to win the league. That team… no chance.”
The transfer window peaked for the Blues in the final few minutes of deadline day yesterday.

They were locked in tough negotiations with Benfica over a potential deal for Enzo Fernandez, with it looking at times like an agreement was not going to be reached.
However, they were given the green light just over an hour before the deadline, with him flying to England today.
Supporters will be hoping that both Mudryk and Fernandez will be on display for the West London derby against Fulham on Friday.
