Journalist Dean Jones has claimed to GiveMeSport that Thomas Tuchel really wants to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Presnel Kimpembe this summer.
The German has overseen somewhat of a revolution of his first team this summer, with him starting three new signings in their last Premier League game against Tottenham.
Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella all impressed in their home debuts, all showing they are likely to be successful purchases for this season.

They have also added young talents for the future, with Carney Chukwuemeka, Gabriel Slonina both joining the club, with Cesare Casadei set to be announced in the coming days.
They have seemingly been in the market for a central defender and an attacker in the last couple of weeks of the window, and Jones has claimed that Tuchel has already told Todd Boehly the players he wants to fill those voids.
Tuchel wants Aubameyang and Kimpembe
He said: “When he started looking into emergency signings for this team, Boehly asked Tuchel basically who he would love to have, and Aubameyang was one of those names that he gave to him.
“He didn’t say it was a realistic one but said this is a player that could fit because of these reasons. And it was the same time he spoke about getting (Presnel) Kimpembe.”

The American owner is reportedly currently looking for clarity over a potential deal to sign Aubameyang, with them seemingly currently someway out from the value Barcelona have currently put on him.
As for defensively, it is unlikely Kimpembe is added to the club’s options this summer, especially after the signing of Marc Cucurella to add cover to the left-centre-back role.
It is more likely they add Wesley Fofana to their ranks, with it being claimed that the club are confident internally of getting that deal over the line.
