Chelsea are now considering Ajax player Mohammed Kudus as a transfer target this summer.
That is according to well-respected journalist Simon Phillips.
Mohammed Kudus, who scored 18 goals in 42 games last season for Dutch giants Ajax, is a very talented young forward.
The left-footer can operate in either wide or central attacking roles, something he does very well for Ajax and the Ghanian national side.

Journalist Simon Phillips has explained on his Substack that Kudus is the latest Chelsea transfer target suggested to him by sources.
Apparently, the 22-year-old African star is on the Blues radar for the current summer transfer window.
Now, we wait to see if the interest in him ramps up.

The Athletic claimed last month that Kudus has rejected a one-year contract extension at Ajax and informed them of his desire to leave the club in the summer transfer window. They added that the Eredivisie club could demand up to £40million to sell the player.
Depending on how many outgoings there are at Stamford Bridge this summer, Kudus could be an interesting Chelsea target.
We would like Chelsea start next season with Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Raheem Sterling as the main first-team options competing for the wide spots. There’s definitely room for one other alongside them, but let’s see who is trimmed from this oversized squad first.
Regardless, we can definitely picture the pacey and skilful Kudus lighting up the Premier League in the near future.
