Chelsea are expecting to make just one more signing before the summer transfer window shuts this week.
That is according to a report from Football.London.
They claim that the Blues expect to complete one final signing before Friday’s deadline day finishes, with a new attacking midfielder to play as a No 10 or the right winger in their sights.
It is understood that there’s still expected to be a couple of player exits from Stamford Bridge this week, too.

It’s been an extremely busy period for Chelsea this window when bringing in signings to build the new-look squad under Mauricio Pochettino.
We often hear the constant debate regarding the club’s spending volume under this current ownership, but that’s not quite translated over on to the pitch yet. That’s always a risk when investing in so many youngsters with huge potential rather than being the finished article.

It looks like some fantastic recruitment this summer with the additions of players such as Nicolas Jackson, Moises Caicedo and Christopher Nkunku. Incidentally, the Blues are very unfortunate Nkunku is currently sidelined with an injury problem after an excellent pre-season at his new club.
Our early assessment from the first few weeks of the campaign is a Premier League top-four bid isn’t unassailable if this group of players clicks into gear.
The addition of one extra creator this week could give the squad one final boost to drive them forward.
