Michael Olise will no longer be joining Chelsea this summer after the Crystal Palace No.7 surprisingly signed a new contract at Selhurst Park – with a huge pay rise.
That is according to Miguel Delaney of the Independent.
So, how much will Michael Olise earn at Crystal Palace after rejecting Chelsea? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well – according to Delaney – the Londoner has received a huge salary increase.
Olise was originally earning £45,000-a-week at Crystal Palace.
Now – however – the winger has more than doubled his wages.
Delaney believes Olise has been given a four-year contract worth £100,000-a-week after choosing to stay in south London, when it looked as if he was certain to join Chelsea.

The shock announcement came just hours after the Guardian claimed that Crystal Palace were thinking about taking Chelsea to court.
The Eagles felt the Blues acted inappropriately during their pursuit of the France Under-21 international.
Chelsea may regret upsetting Crystal Palace in Michael Olise saga
In our view, Chelsea may regret letting this opportunity slip through their fingers.
According to Fabrizio Romano, David Ornstein and many more top sources, Olise had a £35m release clause in his contract at Crystal Palace before signing the extension.
That is an incredibly low fee for someone who looks set to become a £100m player in the near future, so Chelsea’s failure to seal this £35m deal may be something the Blues look back on and kick themselves over.

Whatever Steve Parish and Dougie Freedman said to Olise, it has convinced him to stay for at least another four years, and Chelsea must now return to the drawing board as Mauricio Pochettino plots his next move.
Be sure to keep an eye on developments at Chelsea, as we expect the Blues to sign an alternative to Olise after making excellent progress on a deal for Romeo Lavia.
