Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed on his Substack that Raheem Sterling is considering leaving Chelsea at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has endured a rough season since his £50m return to London, not being able to bring the regular goalscoring touch many expected.
Following joining the Premier League ‘100 Club’ with Manchester City, he was certainly expected to bring more than just four Premier League goals to the side.

However, it’s fair to say goals have been an issue for the entire team. Even an influx of new signings in the attacking areas have failed to bring them to Stamford Bridge.
Injuries have also plagued Sterling’s time at Chelsea, particularly in 2023. He only returned to the starting line-up for the first team in Sunday’s loss to Tottenham.
Sterling not happy at Chelsea
Despite a positive individual display, it was defeat again for a Blues side who are currently on a run of two wins in their last 17 games.
It would be easy to see why some of the superstars at the club are unhappy with the current situation, and Phillips has claimed that Sterling is one of these.
He said: “I understand that Raheem Sterling is another player considering his Chelsea future this summer and may well seek a move away already.

“Sterling hasn’t become fully happy and content at Chelsea since his move from Manchester City.”
Chelsea’s plethora of wide signings will surely probably not have been ideal for the England international, who recently left City off the back of the extreme competition for places there.
Despite them not setting the world alight yet, both Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke are recognised as two of the most promising young players in world football, and they wont have joined the club to sit on the bench.
