Chelsea are in a battle with around five clubs to sign Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano.
In his Substack column, the Italian journalist wrote: “I’m told there are four or five clubs in the race.”

Romano also stated that Chelsea will keep on tracking Antonio Nusa after trying to sign him at the end of the last transfer window.
Nusa has made a strong start to the season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in five Belgian Pro League games.
Another young winger with potential
Nusa is certainly a footballer with a lot of talent who could perhaps develop into a really threatening wide man one day.
But is the 18-year-old, who has been described as an “incredibly exciting player” by Arsenal captain and compatriot Martin Odegaard, really what Chelsea need right now?

The Blues already have Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke, two young wingers they have spent money on and need to develop.
If Chelsea are planning to add another wide attacker to the mix, then they probably need to go for someone who is a bit more proven and can help them with their goalscoring problem.
Since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took over the club, there has been a lot of planning for future seasons with all of these young signings. But what about the present?
It is not something that they can keep overlooking. If they do, then all of this planning that is being done for the future will not matter. Chelsea could be a mid-table team going nowhere by that point.
