Thomas Tuchel has just asked about bringing Conor Gallagher to Bayern Munich from Chelsea in addition to Trevoh Chalobah.

Well, Bayern Munich are looking to bolster their squad even more following the arrivals of Kim Min-jae and Harry Kane.

90min believe Tuchel is keen to strengthen his midfield department, and has just enquired about Gallagher when approaching Chelsea over a deal to sign Chalobah as well.

It is said that Chelsea and Bayern Munich are locked in talks about a deal for the versatile defender – who has been told he can leave Stamford Bridge – and the Evening Standard believe Todd Boehly wants £50m.

90min believe Chelsea would also accept a loan move for Chalobah with an obligation to buy, although Bayern Munich would prefer a loan with an option to buy.

The German giants seem well placed to sign the Freetown-born defender, although Tuchel is set to face problems in his pursuit of the £50,000-a-week Gallagher.

90min believe Mauricio Pochettino now sees Gallagher as an important player at Stamford Bridge.

The England international’s future was clouded in uncertainty just a few weeks ago after the arrivals of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, but a solid start to the 2023/24 campaign has impressed the Argentine.

Chelsea are now actually planning to hold contract talks with Gallagher after Friday’s transfer deadline, so in that respect, it would take a truly irresistible offer from Bayern Munich for Pochettino to sell his No.23 this summer.
