Chelsea are not considering selling Levi Colwill amid interest from one of their fiercest rivals.
Levi Colwill is a player who is on Liverpool’s radar, according to HITC Football.
However, journalist Ben Jacobs has told GiveMeSport that Chelsea are not thinking about letting him go, while the defender himself has no intention of leaving Stamford Bridge this month.
Colwill has been a key player for Mauricio Pochettino this season, making 26 appearances in all competitions under the Argentine.
The pair seem to get on really well, with the former recently stating that he is determined to win games for the latter.
Chelsea and Levi Colwill on the same page
According to Jacobs, Chelsea do not want to sell Colwill, while the 20-year-old does not want to depart Stamford Bridge.
“I think Chelsea are in control of the situation,” Jacobs said. “Chelsea are not thinking about selling Colwill. Colwill is not thinking about leaving Chelsea.
“And it’s only the fact that Liverpool see a longer-term window of opportunity that if it doesn’t work out at Chelsea, if Chelsea don’t get European football continually, the project doesn’t work, if the player wants to play in a different position, of course, you’re going to try and maximise that sort of situation that is purely hypothetical at this point. So I would say Liverpool will keep across the situation in the long run because their interest hasn’t gone away.”

Chelsea will not sell Levi Colwill to Liverpool this month
There is no chance of Chelsea selling Colwill to Liverpool during this transfer window or any time soon.
Again, he is a very important member of the squad and the Blues recently tied him down to a long-term contract. They have no reason to let him go.
We are sure Jurgen Klopp would love to have a player like Colwill — a young England international, capable of playing at centre-back and left-back.
However, it is not going to happen, at least not this month anyway. Chelsea letting their academy graduate leave and join one of their biggest Premier League rivals would be unforgivable and an act Pochettino would not be too happy about.
