Romelu Lukaku was spotted entering an airport in Milan and is reportedly now flying to London to complete his Chelsea transfer.

As earlier reports suggested, the 28-year-old’s transfer to Chelsea is imminent, although the Chelsea fans might still have to wait for an official announcement.

Having left Columbus Clinic Centre in Milan, where he reportedly had his medical, this afternoon, Lukaku has now travelled to the UK.

Several Italian reporters seem to have expected the striker’s arrival in the airport today.

Unsurprisingly, Lukaku refused to make any clarification and instead promised to do so very soon.

“What do I say to Inter fans? I will send them a message in the next few days,” the Belgium international told the reporters (via FCInterNews.it).

Chelsea and Inter have reportedly reached an agreement over a €115million (€97.m) deal for Lukaku.

According to The Athletic, the striker will sign a five-year contract worth around €12-13m-a-year net (about £195,000-a-week after tax) — which will make him the highest-paid player at Chelsea.
