There’s a “high chance” that Armando Broja does end up leaving Chelsea before the close of the January transfer window.
That is according to journalist Dean Jones.
There’s now just a week left of this month’s window, so Blues supporters will be closely following to see if there’s any exits or arrivals at Stamford Bridge.
Armando Broja, 22, is certainly one of the most discussed Chelsea players in the rumour mill.
So, will the centre-forward be on the move during the remaining days?
The academy graduate is still under contract with the club until the summer of 2028, but two goals in 18 appearances so far this season highlights his struggles in attack.

Dean Jones has claimed there’s a strong chance that Broja does complete a Chelsea exit this month.
Speaking on Ranks FC – A Football Podcast, Jones said: “I really think there’s a high chance he goes in this window. I really do. It would also then open up the opportunity for Chelsea to do something which I don’t want to see because I’m a Fulham fan. I don’t want to see Chelsea make a late splash for a striker because typically they’ll go get someone good.”
Armando Broja could leave Chelsea
There’s certainly plenty of speculation to back up the suspicion that Broja may leave the Blues.
Journalist Ben Jacobs shared via X earlier this week that Chelsea are still prepared to listen to offers for Broja in January. Apparently, league rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham would prefer to sign the £35m-rated striker on loan. There may be interest from Aston Villa and West Ham, too.
We feel the 22-year-old frontman could benefit from a move elsewhere to rediscover his form, but it could be risky letting him go when there’s a lack of options in the current squad. In fact, he was the only available out-and-out centre-forward in Chelsea’s group last night.
Our guess is the player’s future will be revisited at the end of the season in the summer window when there’s a lot more time to sign replacements.
