Antonio Rudiger reportedly won’t make a decision about his Chelsea future until after next month’s games against Real Madrid.
Bild journalist Christian Falk claims the 29-year-old won’t decide his Blues future until after the two-legged Champions League tie against Real Madrid, with the matches taking place on the 6th and 12th of April.
Falk explains Rudiger’s hoping the ownership situation at Stamford Bridge is a little clearer in a few weeks time. Also, upcoming opponents Madrid are interested in the defender’s signature.
With the centre-back’s contract at Chelsea expiring this summer, he’s in line to leave at the end of the season. The current sanctions on the west London club mean they can’t negotiate a new deal with him at this stage, too.
Rudiger’s reportedly held talks with Madrid, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich already.
However, the £100,000-a-week Germany international may wait before making a decision on his future.

New owners can become instant heroes
Hopefully, during the next few weeks a decision can be made over the new ownership that will succeed Roman Abramovich.
The ongoing takeover story continues to roll on, though.
As Rudiger’s future still hangs in the balance, new Chelsea owners can become instant favourites when they arrive by tying down the future of the German powerhouse.
He’s one of the most important in Thomas Tuchel’s side at the back, which is why losing him would be a mammoth blow.
