Juventus have reportedly made contact to sign Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly, with Todd Boehly keen to sell the Senegal international this summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants are already underway in their attempts to sign the 31-year-old centre-back, with Juventus missing out on Koulibaly last summer as Chelsea ultimately won the race for the former Napoli superstar.
As we know, though, Koulibaly has endured a year to forget in his first season with Chelsea, so much so that Boehly and the Blues’ transfer team are already willing to sell the defender just one year after his £33m move to the Premier League from Italy.

With Juventus now in talks with Koulibaly, there’s a strong chance that the defender will now be heading back to Serie A, with the Old Lady also now in the driving seat for a UEFA Champions League spot having seen their 15-point deduction reversed earlier this week.
Indeed, with Chelsea set for zero European football next season, the prospect of a return to Italy with Juventus could be an alluring one for Koulibaly, especially with the west London side eager to already offload the Senegal international at the end of this season.
Koulibaly should jump at the chance to sign for Juventus

Koulibaly’s first year in England has been as disasters as it has been a surprise, with few expecting the former Napoli man to struggle this badly with the Premier League having been one of the best defenders in Italy for years, which is why a move to Juventus could be an opportunity that is too good to turn down.
WIth Juventus on the road back to the top and Chelsea under Boehly a sinking ship, signing for the Turin-based giants could be a great move for Koulibaly, who could quickly rediscover his form back in Serie A under Massimiliano Allegri.
