Sebastian Ledure – a lawyer who represents Romelu Lukaku – is now trying to help Chelsea and Inter Milan find an agreement over a permanent deal.
That is according to FC Inter 1908.
So, what is the latest on Romelu Lukaku? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the Italian news outlet believe Chelsea want a sum of €40m (£34m) to sell the Belgian.
However – according to FC Inter 1908 – Inter Milan are not going to offer more than €30m (£25m) to sign Lukaku this summer, which is obviously €10m (£9m) less than Chelsea’s asking price.
Now, it is said that Ledure is trying to help negotiations run smoothly between the Blues and the Italian giants, to ensure an agreement is found which keeps all parties satisfied.

The Italian news outlet mention that the £9m difference in valuations could be made up through bonus payments or performance related add-ons.
Lukaku scored ten goals in 25 Serie A appearances on loan at the San Siro last season, as Inter Milan won the Coppa Italia and also reached the UEFA Champions League final.
Lukaku doing his part to force move
Having already angered the Chelsea fanbase with that explosive interview back in 2021, Lukaku is now running the risk of upsetting supporters even more.
A story from Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the 30-year-old is going to ignore Mauricio Pochettino’s request for him to return to Cobham for pre-season training by July 13th.

The Belgium international plans to avoid coming back to London as he awaits an agreement between Inter Milan and Chelsea, where he is then hoping to join the Italian side’s pre-season straight away.
If an agreement is not found by that date, things look set to become pretty awkward between Lukaku and Pochettino.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as talks between Chelsea and Inter Milan continue.
