Blues winger Hudson-Odoi is being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, but time is running out for him to leave on Tuesday’s deadline day.
Football London claimed yesterday that Leicester have made contact with Chelsea about their 20-year-old.
It claimed that Leicester have made an approach about a potential permanent deal for him, but German club Borussia Dortmund have also been in contact about a loan move.
The report does explain that the English star’s future depends on potential incomings at Chelsea.
Would Hudson-Odoi suit Leicester?
A selection of Leicester supporters on social media love the idea of bringing Hudson-Odoi to their club.
Brendan Rodgers’ team is crying out for someone to play as a right-winger, so they could be a great fit for Chelsea’s speedster.
However, losing the Blues academy graduate would be a bitter pill to swallow.
He’s definitely got the potential to become a starter at Stamford Bridge further down the line and he contributed 10 goals/assists last season in the Chelsea first team.
For Chelsea, they should be looking to negotiate a loan deal rather than a permanent one.
The £120,000-a-week player has produced a few excellent moments during 99 senior appearances for his boyhood club, but nailing down a spot in Thomas Tuchel’s XI is a huge ask this season.
