Lautaro Martinez’s agent Alejandro Camano says the striker is only interested in Inter Milan amid links to Chelsea.

TEAMtalk recently claimed that Lautaro Martinez is one player who Chelsea are considering signing as they look to bring in a new striker.

But it looks like the Blues could struggle to convince him to join them, with Camano telling TV Play that his client loves Inter and is happy there.

Martinez has been in incredible form for the Nerazzurri this season, scoring four goals in their 4-0 win against Salernitana yesterday.

Lautaro Martinez happy at Inter Milan

Camano says Martinez received many offers during the summer, including from Saudi Arabia, but the 26-year-old is enjoying life in Italy.

On his client, Camano said: “Saudi Arabia is a market full of temptations, and Lautaro received many proposals but not only from there. But whenever I tell him about these possibilities, he says, ‘Inter, only Inter.’

“The affinity he shares with the fans and the club is incredible. The sense of belonging to the project and the group is important. Lautaro didn’t listen to any club other than Inter. He’s with the Nerazzurri now because he loves the club and the team.”

Blow for Chelsea

If you are a top club looking for a new striker, then Martinez has to be on your list.

The Argentina international, who has been hailed as “spectacular” by his international team-mate Lionel Messi, is one of the best forwards in European football.

In the last two seasons, he has scored 21 league goals in each campaign.

There is no guarantee that Chelsea will be able to sign Ivan Toney or Victor Osimhen, for instance, so it would great for them to have Martinez on their shortlist as well. And while it seems that they actually do, luring him away from Inter may prove to be an extremely tricky task.

Things can quickly change in football, though, and Chelsea have the money, so never say never.
