Chelsea’s Lewis Hall is very close to joining Premier League rivals Crystal Palace on a season-long loan.
That is according to a report from The Daily Mail.
They claim that Palace are now on the verge of welcoming Lewis Hall, 18, to Selhurst Park on loan.
It is explained that Roy Hodgson’s side want the Blues youngster to compete with Tyrick Mitchell for the left-back position, but he’s a versatile talent that can also play in midfield.
The report says that Palace should confirm Hall as their player within the next 48 hours, which is in time for their opening Premier League fixture against Sheffield United this Saturday.

So, Hall is set to be announced as a Palace player by Thursday.
In our view, this is an excellent piece of business for all parties involved.
Hall made a really positive impact when stepping into Chelsea’s first-team squad last year from the academy, mainly catching the eye in the left-back position during the latter stages of the season.
We’re pretty confident the English teenager is going to be a bit hit in the Palace line-up, whether that’s at full-back or central midfield.

Hall, who Micah Richards previously described as “magnificent” on Sky Sports, should get a great opportunity this season at Palace to continue his development.
The left-footer’s only played 12 first-team games in his career, but he definitely looks good enough to make an impact at Premier League level right now.
Hopefully, he can enjoy the same kind of success that Conor Gallagher did out on loan with Palace a couple of years ago.
