Chelsea are apparently the Premier League club making the greatest attempt to acquire Dusan Vlahovic.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Ben Jacobs claimed that Todd Boehly is currently beating his league rivals in the pursuit of Juventus’ number nine.
Boehly is well aware that Graham Potter requires another striker, following Armando Broja’s unfortunate campaign-ending injury.
With the January market almost upon us, Graham Potter’s employer seems intent on boosting the first-team’s front line.
Finding available options at a fair price will be hard to come by, however.
Vlahovic is a prime example.

Demands of Dusan Vlahovic
The 22-year-old will be difficult to obtain for a variety of reasons.
His price alone might be enough to force Boehly to look in other directions.
He only joined Juve in January for £66.6m, so it’s unlikely the Italian’s will sell their new recruit for anything less.
Especially as the Serbian’s contract does not expire until 2026.
Also, they might be reluctant to release the ‘extraordinary’ attacker, as he is currently the team’s top scorer in Serie A.
Yet, Boehly appears to be undeterred by all the obstacles that stand between him and Vlahovic.
“It’s actually Chelsea, from a Premier League point of view, making the inquiries at this point, and we know that they need a striker as well,” claimed Jacobs.
If the Stamford Bridge chief managed to seal the Serbia international, it would go down as one mighty transfer operation.

But Boehly has already proved he is willing to spend the cash on forwards, so Vlahovic might be no different.
Since replacing Roman Abramovich, the American has bought Raheem Sterling, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as well as sorting deals for Christopher Nkunku and Datro Fofana.
Although, none will match the price that Juve will surely be asking for Vlahovic’s services.
