Manchester City are now considering bidding for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.
That is according to a report from The Daily Mail.
Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze, 25, is a talented player linked with Chelsea in the past month.
In fact, well-respected journalist Simon Phillips reported on his Substack that Chelsea made a move in the past week by asking about Eze during talks with Palace. There’s been no further advancements beyond the initial enquiry yet, though.
Now, Man City could be entering the running for the Palace sensation.

The Daily Mail has explained on Wednesday that Man City are weighing up a move for Eze after failing to land West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta in this window.
It is understood that Palace are likely to demand north of £70million for their creative playmaker, who’s a huge goalscoring threat from a No 10 position.
The report says that any incoming bids are likely to test Palace’s resolve due to the fact the player only has two years left on his contract at Selhurst Park.

Described as “incredible” by club teammate Joel Ward (Palace’s official website), Eze is a standout individual at Palace with so much skill and technique with the ball at his feet.
It’s quite telling that Man City, who achieved a historic treble win last season, could make a move for the Palace talent.
He earned his first senior call-up with England last month and a high-profile transfer in the remainder of the summer window could elevate him to a different kind of height.
For Chelsea, we wouldn’t like to see the club go near Eze’s £70million valuation despite the obvious ability.
