Chelsea face competition from Manchester United to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, and it looks like the latter could have a secret weapon to win the race for the player’s signature.
After failing to land Michael Olise last summer, Chelsea are still interested in the 22-year-old, according to ESPN.
However, the same outlet has claimed that United are keen on Olise, too, and are considering doing a deal that would see Aaron Wan-Bissaka head in the opposite direction.
United signed Wan-Bissaka from Palace in 2019, but it now appears that he could be on his way back there.
As for Olise, the France U21 international has really impressed this season. In nine Premier League games, he has scored five goals.

Manchester United and Chelsea interested in Michael Olise
It is only normal for United and Chelsea to be interested in a player of Olise’s talent.
The Palace star is an extremely gifted winger who is proving that he can deliver in the English top flight.
As already highlighted, Olise has been clinical in front of goal in the current campaign, while last season, he recorded 11 assists in 37 appearances.
What Olise really excels at, though, is dribbling. The former Reading wide man is currently making 2.7 dribbles per game, which is the highest average in Roy Hodgson’s squad (WhoScored).
All in all, Chelsea signing him is a bit of a no-brainer, though that may not be easy with United sniffing around. If they really are willing to offer Wan-Bissaka to land Olise, then it could give them the upper hand in the race for his signature.
For ESPN pundit Janusz Michallik, however, the Blues could really do with a player like that. Hopefully, then, the club can add him to Mauricio Pochettino‘s squad before the start of next season.
