The relationship between AC Milan and Chelsea is strong. Over the last decade, eight players have left Chelsea for the Serie A giants, and now, Nicolas Jackson could be a ninth.
Chelsea are set for a busy summer. Not only do BlueCo have to find a new manager to replace Liam Rosenior in the dugout, but they have plenty to do in the transfer market, Champions League or not.
Champions League football remains a possibility if Chelsea finish sixth and Aston Villa win the Europa League and finish in fifth position. With Villa in the semi-finals and currently fifth, it remains possible.
Are you taking Nicolas Jackson back at Chelsea in the summer? Is he better than what we’ve got?
The bloated nature of Chelsea’s squad means plenty of sales are expected in the next three or four months. One player with an uncertain future is Nicolas Jackson, as Bayern rule out a permanent move.
AC Milan open talks to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea
Bayern were always adamant that the striker would not join permanently from Chelsea, despite his decent form as a back-up striker for Harry Kane. But he was never going to start. Kane has scored 54 goals.

Some have suggested that Jackson should return to Chelsea. Paul Merson even thinks Cole Palmer misses Jackson, with the striker willing to run in behind while Joao Pedro often crowds Palmer’s space in midfield.
But his future remains open, and clubs are becoming interested. According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Milan have opened talks to sign the former Villarreal striker. Juventus are also supposedly keen on Jackson.
The eight previous players to join Milan from Chelsea since 2016
As aforementioned, the relationship between Milan and Chelsea has almost seen the Italian side prove to be a feeder club for Chelsea. Since 2016, across the last decade, eight players have gone to Milan.
How Chelsea COULD line-up with Nicolas Jackson
Christopher Nkunku is the latest to make the switch, though Milan have already put Nkunku up for sale. Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori remain key players under boss Max Allegri.
Alongside those four players, Joao Felix, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Olivier Giroud and Asmir Begovic have all gone to Milan from Chelsea whether that be a loan, on a free or permanent. Jackson could be a ninth.
