Trevor Chalobah has refused to rule out an exit from Chelsea this summer amid talk of Inter Milan being very keen to sign him.
The Chelsea No.14 spoke to Sky Sports about his future.
So, what did Trevor Chalobah say about talk of him leaving Chelsea? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the 23-year-old left the door open to a potential exit from Stamford Bridge when asked about reports linking him with a £25m move to Inter Milan.
According to Football London, the Italian giants feel the Chelsea academy graduate would be perfect for them, with Simone Inzaghi believing that the Freetown-born defender would be ideal for his playing style.
Chalobah said: “Moving to Italy? You never know what happens, I like Italy. It’s a nice country, but I’m under contract at Chelsea. The level is high in Serie A, they have very good teams but I also like how life is in this country.”

Clearly, the centre-back sounds open to playing his football in Italy, but is also quite content with life at Stamford Bridge.
That pretty much fits into what some reliable sources have said about Chalobah.
Chelsea will seemingly have to force Chalobah out
A story from The Athletic claimed that Chalobah would prefer to stay in west London and fight for his place under Mauricio Pochettino, but will leave if he feels the Blues do not want him.
By the sounds of his comments, that would appear to be true.

Chalobah seems to be considering the positives of life in Milan if he is forced out of Stamford Bridge, although he reiterated his love for London and his contract with Chelsea in case some may have assumed he had one eye on an exit.
Whatever happens, if Chalobah does end up staying at Stamford Bridge, he seems to be a model professional who will give 100% for Pochettino, and won’t be one to kick up a fuss.
