Newcastle United are once again being linked with Chelsea and Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson.
Newcastle were reportedly interested in signing Jackson last summer, but the 24-year-old joined Bayern Munich on loan instead.
Bayern have opted against purchasing Jackson following his loan spell at the Allianz Arena, giving Newcastle another chance to land him.

Newcastle appreciate Nicolas Jackson’s pace, movement and versatility
Jackson had his critics during his first two seasons in England before his temporary move to Germany. However, Newcastle appear to be fans of the Chelsea man.
According to TEAMtalk, Newcastle are interested in signing Jackson in the upcoming transfer window, with the Magpies appreciating his pace, movement and ability to play in more than one position in the frontline.
His Premier League experience is also likely to appeal to Newcastle, who need to add to their forward line after losing Anthony Gordon to Barcelona.
In total, Jackson has played 65 games in the English top flight and scored 24 goals. He also has 10 assists.
The Senegalese media were impressed with Jackson after his recent performance against the USA, but he did miss a big chance during the match. Ultimately, his finishing could still do with some refining.

Chelsea should consider Nicolas Jackson and Nick Woltemade swap deal
If Newcastle are interested in signing Jackson this summer, there would be no harm in Chelsea enquiring about Nick Woltemade.
Last season, Liam Delap really struggled at Chelsea, while Emanuel Emegha is unproven. Someone like Woltemade could offer much better cover than Delap and Emegha.
Woltemade had a very mixed campaign. The German started strongly before losing his place in Eddie Howe’s team, but he has plenty of good attributes.
Woltemade can play as a centre-forward or attacking midfielder. Despite being so tall, he is still quite a technical forward.
The 24-year-old scores goals and is good in the air. This Chelsea team probably needs a bit more height so that is a real bonus.
It is thought that Chelsea have already enquired about Woltemade, so why not propose a swap deal with Jackson going the other way? It could benefit all parties.
