Veteran full-back Luke Wilkshire claims Chelsea are highly attracted to Dynamo Moscow attacker Arsen Zakharyan.
Speaking to Sport24, Wilkshire suggested that the Stamford Bridge heirehcy are in the market for the marvellous Moscow talent.
Zakharyan is certainly said to be on the radar of Todd Boehly, with the player himself confessing his love for the Blues.
If both parties want the same thing, why hasn’t a transfer been sealed yet?
Chelsea did attempt to secure the 19-year-old in the summer, but FIFA restricted the signing of Russian players due to the country’s invasion of Ukraine.

Although the war continues to ensue, Boehly has seemingly not dropped his pursuit of the young forward.
The January transfer window is right around the corner, providing the American the perfect opportunity to make another move for Zakharyan.
A proposal that would not surprise Wilkshire in the slightest, as he named the youthful Russian as Dynamo’s best player.
“There are several of them. But the best, perhaps, is Zakharyan. No wonder Chelsea are interested in him,” said the defender, who is still playing at 41-years of age.
“He is a great talent. Of course, it will be a pity if he leaves Dynamo. But how cool it would be if a young Russian talent moves to the English Premier League.”
Chelsea make plans for Zakharyan
Permitted Chelsea manage to land Zakharyan, he would become only the ninth player from his homeland to join an English top-flight side.
Three of those actually represented the Blues, with Dmitri Kharine, Alexey Smertin and Yuri Zhirkov all experiencing rather unmemorable spells in South West London.

But none arrived with quite the same hype or expectation that currently surrounds Dynamo’s shining diamond.
Zakharyan has scored or assisted nine times this season, more than any members of Graham Potter’s front line.
