Nottingham Forest could be about to make a statement in the transfer market amid interest in a couple of Chelsea stars.
The Club World Cup winners are trying to offload some high-profile players currently, including Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson and Raheem Sterling.
It has already been claimed that Forest have an interest in Nkunku, who is also wanted by Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig.
However, it appears that the Frenchman is not the only Chelsea star who has caught Forest’s attention with his availability.

Nottingham Forest make approach to sign Nicolas Jackson
In recent weeks, Jackson has been heavily linked with Newcastle United and Aston Villa, but it looks like Forest could now be a potential destination for the striker this summer.
According to journalist Eduardo Burgos, the Europa League club have approached Jackson’s agency over a possible move to the City Ground.
Burgos has also claimed that Villa, Newcastle, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus have done the same thing as well and that his future will be decided this week.
In terms of how much he could be sold for, different price tags have been mentioned. Another journalist, Florian Plettenberg, has reported that Jackson could cost £56m, for example.
Napoli are said to be close to Jackson’s camp, so they are another club who could also end up making an approach for the 24-year-old.

Why Chelsea could miss Nicolas Jackson in Friday’s game against West Ham United
Chelsea were without Jackson for their 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace last Sunday, and that will be the case this Friday when they take on West Ham United.

With a transfer on the horizon, Jackson is not part of Enzo Maresca’s group at present. Heading into Friday’s game, that is great news for the Hammers.
Jackson destroyed West Ham last season in the same fixture, scoring two goals and registering one assist.
Chelsea could end up missing him, especially if Joao Pedro has another quiet outing. The Brazilian was silenced by Palace’s defence last weekend, while Chelsea’s attack as a whole disappointed on the day.
