Chelsea are reportedly interested in Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak and they now need to react, as Premier League rivals Manchester United have been linked with him too.
The Mirror previously stated that Frank Lampard’s side had made the La Liga shot-stopper their number one goalkeeper target for the summer transfer window.
It claimed that the Blues could even look to try negotiate a player-plus-cash deal which involved Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has continued to really struggle in net at Stamford Bridge this season.

But the Sun now claims that Man United are keeping tabs on Oblak’s situation, as he is understood to be open to a fresh challenge in his career and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is weighing up his options at Old Trafford.
The report claims that his release clause at Spanish side Atletico is £109mllion, but they could accept a lower figure than that to help raise funds.
With United now looking towards Oblak as a potential target, Chelsea should waste no time in pursuing Oblak by making contact with Atletico.
It’s unclear on if they would allow him to leave voluntarily or if any kind of deal is realistic, but he’s so needed in Lampard’s squad that they should activate his release clause if need be and do everything possible to get him.

Oblak would transform Chelsea team
Chelsea fans are understandably extremely excited to watch attacker Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner play next season, while the speculation around Kai Havertz refuses to go away as well.
There could be some serious firepower going forward at the Bridge next season and it will improve the team, but signing arguably the best goalkeeper in the world is one that would totally transform the XI.
The Blues need a top-class talent in net if they seriously want to challenge for the title in the next couple of years and the Slovenia international would be a phenomenal addition.
Oblak is a commanding presence that also has brilliant reflexes, while his record of 139 clean sheets in 256 appearnaces for Atletico speaks for itself.
