Chelsea’s £23m player is reportedly attracting interest from several rival clubs in the Premier League.
In fact, the Blues are happy for the midfielder to go out on loan next season.
It’s going to be interesting to see how Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca sets up his midfield in the new campaign.
There’s some real depth in the central midfield positions at Stamford Bridge.
As it stands, Chelsea’s midfield options include the likes of Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Andrey Santos, Carney Chukwuemeka, Conor Gallagher, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Lesley Ugochukwu.

Clubs want to sign Lesley Ugochukwu, Chelsea may loan him
According to The Athletic, Chelsea are planning to review the situation of their midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu.
It is understood that they’ll consider possible loan options during this summer transfer window.
The report states that the Blues would prefer for Ugochukwu to join a Premier League club on a temporary basis. Interestingly, there’s three unnamed teams in the Premier League that have registered interest in the 20-year-old Chelsea player.
Apparently, there’s also sides across Europe monitoring the situation.
What should the Blues do?
The Chelsea Chronicle thinks it’s a no-brainer for Ugochukwu to spend the next season out on loan.
If the Blues can sort out Premier League deal for the youngster, that would be fantastic as long as he’s guaranteed minutes.
Chelsea spent £23m (BBC) to sign Ugochukwu from Rennes last summer.
The French defensive midfielder played just 15 times during his debut season at Stamford Bridge. Admittedly, he did miss a large chunk of the year with a hamstring injury.
However, it’s hard to picture him nailing down a regular starting position at Chelsea right now when you look at the competition for places.
He’s a towering midfielder with a great build and physicality, but he needs time and minutes to settle in English football.
