Chelsea’s Izzy Brown is reportedly a target for Championship side QPR – and some of their fans on Twitter have responded by claiming they hope to complete a deal for him.
The 23-year-old attacker is still on the books at Stamford Bridge and joined back in 2013 from West Bromwich Albion, but is now entering the final year of his contract.
He spent the 2019/20 season helping Luton Town in the Championship during a loan spell and now their league rivals QPR are taking a look at him following his return to the Blues.
West London Sport claims that Mark Warbuton’s QPR have picked out Brown as a potential target and Chelsea are currently weighing up his future.
With just the year left on his deal, it could make perfect sense to sell the creative playmaker this summer for some cash and end his seven-year stay with the Blues.
There are plenty of Chelsea youngsters way ahead of him in Frank Lampard’s group and he doesn’t quite look ready for Premier League football yet, with injury problems not helping his cause.
He looks a good fit for QPR on paper and managed eight assists last season for Luton, so tempting them into a sizeable transfer sum for him should be on the cards.
A selection of QPR supporters on social media have expressed their views about the Chelsea man:
I did see we were looking at Izzy Brown. Could be a potential replacement for Eze.

I’m all for an Izzy Brown signing as long as the risk v reward is properly balance…no big salary or fee #qpr

Loan this season then grab him on a free when his contract runs out in 12 months?

Personally think he’d be a great signing if he can stay fit but I have serious concerns over his injury problems…

Injury prone from what I have heard ,potential talent yes , risk factor due to injury,,very much so ! .Maybe loan first and have option to buy after ? As then can test him and hope he stays injury free for a change !.
