Jason Cundy believes Chelsea should sign Erling Haaland this summer before his release clause kicks in, speaking on talkSPORT.
Interest in the future of Borussia Dortmund’s sensational striker grows stronger by the day, with no end to the rumours surrounding his next destination.
Plenty of Premier League sides have been linked with Haaland, including Chelsea.
Last month, Eurosport reported the Blues are becoming increasingly hopeful of landing the 20-year-old sensation following positive talks with his representatives.

Clubs will need an edge over their adversaries to sign the Norwegian forward, not to mention a chunky chequebook.
Haaland’s release clause will stand at £66 million (BBC Sport).
But that doesn’t kick in until summer 2022, so Dortmund could ask for considerably more if a team came in for him this summer.
And former Chelsea defender Cundy feels someone should take the plunge to tempt Haaland away before the release clause enters the mathematics.
He said: “I know it’s ridiculous saying this – but you could get Haaland quite cheap.
“I think Dortmund might be tempted at £100 million. That’s above what they’re going to get next year.
“You’re probably going to get him at £120 million.”
And Cundy says all the power rests with Haaland.
He said: “(Haaland) is in so much control and power. He might decide he wants to stay at Dortmund for another year where he’s enjoying his football and he’s progressing nicely.

“He’s obviously settled into the system and the way they’re playing.
“From what I’ve seen, I don’t think there’s too many systems he can’t be effective in. He’s got a little bit of everything. He’s an absolute monster.”
Chelsea have the finances if they want to make Haaland their marquee signing for next season.
Roman Abramovich proved that by treating Frank Lampard to new recruits worth £200 million (Daily Mail) before sacking him in January.
The club can also pull on Thomas Tuchel’s connections to Dortmund and the Bundesliga.

But Haaland is unlikely to commit to any club that’s not playing Champions League football.
Chelsea are in a good position to do that under Tuchel, so that’s another tick on their checklist.
But a lot can change between now and the end of the season. Blues fans may need to lower their Haaland hopes – for now.
