Raheem Sterling update emerges out of Chelsea after Liam Rosenior’s arrival

Raheem Sterling’s career continues to waste away at Chelsea after falling out of favour.

Liam Rosenior has a job on his hands to get rid of the deadweight left at Chelsea, with Axel Disasi, Tyrique George, and Raheem Sterling all surplus to requirements.

AC Milan have an interest in signing Disasi, which could open the door for Chelsea to make a move for Mike Maignan, who has been linked with the Blues.

George came close to joining Fulham in the summer before it collapsed, so he’ll be hoping he can finally make his way out the exit doors at Stamford Bridge.

And Sterling is a bit more complicated, as it’s a permanent deal that Chelsea is seeking, rather than a loan, which would suit most interested clubs.

Who has been the worst signing of the Todd Boehly era at Chelsea? 👎

Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all have to be contenders…

Raheem Sterling’s situation after Liam Rosenior’s arrival

According to ESPN, despite there being a change of coach at Stamford Bridge, his situation at Chelsea is an ownership decision rather than one made by Liam Rosenior.

Sterling has not played for Chelsea since the 2023-24 season and has been forced to train away from the first team since returning from his loan at Arsenal, and it doesn’t look like he’ll appear again.

It has been claimed that Sterling could even join up with Antonio Conte over in Italy, as the former Blues boss is considering a raid on Chelsea.
