Jude Soonsup-Bell has reportedly made his last appearance for Chelsea.

According to the Evening Standard, the teenager will sign for Tottenham Hotspur, having decided not to renew his contract at Cobham.

The 19-year-old’s future in South West London has been in doubt throughout the campaign, with his deal set to expire in the summer.

Now, it seems his mind has been fully made up.

He will make the controversial move across the capital to Chelsea’s close rivals

Soonsup-Bell is due to take his medical at Spurs very soon and hopefully get to work straight away improving the struggling Under-21 side.

Wayne Burnett’s team are currently second bottom in the Premier League 2, but were recently buoyed by their derby day win over Arsenal last Friday.

There will be added optimism with the arrival of Soonsup-Bell, who has a very decent scoring record at academy level.

During his time at Chelsea, the forward hit 29 goals in 78 appearances for the various youth squads.

His tally will restart once he becomes a Tottenham player, a transfer that has seemingly concerned the attacker’s now former employers for various reasons.

Along with the alarm about wanting to sign for a close adversary, people at Chelsea are said to be worried by the fact that another cut from their own cloth has decided to depart.

In the past few years, a whole host of talent has parted ways with the Blues, although this hasn’t prevented them from continuing the production line.

Lewis Hall’s emergence as a first-team regular is proof that the work behind the scenes is still going strong.
