Edouard Mendy is expecting Chelsea to sell him at the end of the season, according to reports.
It’s been a difficult campaign at Stamford Bridge for Edouard Mendy, losing his role as the first-choice goalkeeper for the Blues. The 31-year-old missed a chunk at the start of the New Year with a shoulder problem, too.
He’s played just 12 first-team games across all competitions this season with just two matches remaining.
Have we now watched the £22million star play his last game for the club?

The Evening Standard claims that Mendy expects to be sold by Chelsea this summer.
However, the report adds that the Senegal international is yet to be told by the club their intentions for him. This is despite the Blues currently searching the transfer market for a new goalkeeper.
His current deal in West London doesn’t expire until the summer of 2025, but surely he won’t want to spend the foreseeable future watching from the bench. After all, he was voted the best goalkeeper in the world a couple of years ago.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano shared on Twitter earlier this month that Mendy has hired himself a new agent ahead of a potential exit from Chelsea this summer.
He’s proven in Chelsea colours he can be a spectacular shot-stopper with great reflexes and a dominant presence. Unfortunately, his playing out from the back is suspect and he’s got little confidence right now.
We’re pretty sure he can go elsewhere and be a huge hit at a different club, but we wouldn’t mind Chelsea selling and upgrading this summer.
It’s felt like the writing has been on the wall since teammate Kepa Arrizabalaga replaced him as the number 1.
