Reports have claimed that Mason Mount is now interested in a move to join former manager Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich.
According to The Guardian, while the 24-year-old is open for the move, the Bundesliga champions have yet to make any real advances in getting the deal done.
Talks regarding a new contract for Mount have reached a standstill in recent months, opening up a genuine possibility that he could leave the club.

This is despite the England international winning the club’s player of the year award for the last two seasons.
His form this season though has been poor to his standards, and his recent injury woes won’t have helped his case.
When Chelsea hit form just before the international break, Mount was absent from those games due to an injury.
Mount interested in Bayern move
This will have done his stock no good when it comes to supporters, who will have noticed impressive performances from the likes of Joao Felix in his absence.
He could even be looking for his next move, with Bayern the club latest to be mentioned as a potential landing spot.
While Chelsea would still be parting ways with one of their most talented players, they would at least not be selling him to a direct Premier League rival.

Tuchel has not been quiet in his desires to raid his former club despite being in the Bayern hotseat for less than a week.
The German made it public knowledge his desire to work with Blues coach Anthony Barry again, despite him being a member of staff at Stamford Bridge.
Talks are currently ongoing as to whether he will move, although it is believed a solution for him to leave the club is getting closer.
