Chelsea may now be prepared to compromise with Manchester United over the sale of Mason Mount.
That is according to The Guardian.
We’ve heard plenty of speculation in the past few weeks regarding Mason Mount’s potential transfer to Old Trafford, which has yet to happen at a time when Chelsea are selling players all over.
However, there’s now a fresh claim that suggests the 24-year-old’s future could soon be sorted.

The Guardian explains that Chelsea are ‘keen to find a resolution’ over Mount’s possible sale to Man United.
It is understood that the attacking midfielder’s relationship with Chelsea has ‘deteriorated’ over the past year, albeit he will remain the ultimate professional while is future is being sorted.
The report adds that the Blues hierarchy are now actually willing to find a compromise with United to sell them Mount in this transfer window.
Apparently, the most recent bid of £50million plus £5million in add-ons was rejected. Instead, a £65million asking price has been set on the England international.
So, how much is Chelsea willing to compromise during negotiations, which are scheduled to resume this week with more talks.

Described as “unbelievable” by Joe Cole (The Mirror), Mount must be desperate for this transfer saga to reach its conclusion.
The Telegraph claimed this week that Mauricio Pochettino wants to personally ask Mount if he feels motivated to play for Chelsea before joining the group for pre-season.
We expect Chelsea’s academy graduate will remain professional and respectful throughout the process.
However, it now feels like the sooner he gets a move to Old Trafford the better.
