Tammy Abraham’s valuation has nearly trebled since his move from Chelsea to Roma last year.

England striker Abraham left Stamford Bridge in last summer’s transfer window to complete a £34million transfer to Italian giants Roma.

The 24-year-old’s form has been sensational, which is why a fresh report has put his price tag for the upcoming summer as nearly three times more than Chelsea sold him for.

According to the Daily Mail, Roma will put a £100million price tag on the centre-forward’s head.

It is understood that Chelsea actually have a £67million buy-back clause that becomes active in 2023 to re-sign Abraham, but several clubs across Europe are looking into the possibility of signing him at the end of this season.

The report says Roma are desperate to keep him, but any bids close to their valuation would be very hard to resist.

Abraham has scored 23 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions so far this season, proving to be a real talisman for Jose Mourinho’s side in Rome.

For Chelsea, they sold their academy graduate in the summer and replaced him with Romelu Lukaku. It does look a questionable decision right now months down the line.

Chelsea should keep close eye on Abraham

Abraham should become a genuine option for Chelsea in the 2023 window if he’s still at Roma banging in the goals.

The striker’s scored goals wherever he’s gone in his senior career, but it’s his overall impact both on and off the ball that’s been earning him rave reviews.

He didn’t fit into Thomas Tuchel’s plans for this campaign, but he’s making some massive improvements in Serie A.
