It has been reported Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling has set a date for when he wants his future to be confirmed.
According to The Telegraph, the England international has set a two-week deadline on when he wishes to resolve his future, amid reports that he is wanting a move away.
The 27-year-old enjoyed another successful year at City, helping the club come out on top in a fierce title battle with former club Liverpool, for whom he left for £50m.

Sterling’s output has improved greatly under Pep Guardiola, joining the illustrious Premier League ‘100 club’ last season.
Despite these numbers, the competition for places at the Etihad has lead to less starts for the Englishman, with the signing of Jack Grealish 12 months ago only adding to the strength in depth.
This lead to reports that Sterling was looking for a new challenge, with Thomas Tuchel said to be a massive fan of the potential move.
The Telegraph claimed the Englishman will be making his decision within the next 14 days, with Chelsea only one of a number of clubs interested in acquiring his services.
The report suggests Barcelona and Real Madrid have also showed interest in a deal, with some pundits suggesting a move to the Blues would not be in Sterling’s best interests.

The Catalan side are already threatening to cause major waves in Chelsea’s transfer plans, as it has been reported they are ready to hijack a move for Sevilla’s Jules Kounde.

The signing of Sterling would not only provide the Blues with immense talent on the pitch, it would be a statement of their intent under the new ownership.
Most importantly however, Thomas Tuchel will finally have a Premier League proven forward to play wide, with the current crop failing to live up to the standards the league desires.
