Chelsea reportedly introduced Endrick to Thiago Silva at Cobham as a way of influencing him to join the club.
According to the Times, the Blues hosted Endrick and his family at the training ground, where he meet with the iconic centre-back.
Endrick might’ve had posters of Silva on his wall growing up, considering there is over two decades in difference between the players.
They very much represent the past, present and future of Brazilian football, and potentially Chelsea as well.

Todd Boehly is apparently pushing hard to sign the teenager from Palmeiras, with the recent ploy relayed by the Times part of his tactics.
Boehly seemingly remains confident that he can win the race to seal the 16-year-old’s £52m signature, despite competition from other European heavyweights.
Silva shows Endrick the ropes
Showing Endrick round the facilities is certainly one way to spark the imagination.
Not to mention organising a meeting with Silva, who surely gave a glowing review of the team he joined in 2020.
Emulating the defender must be a high priority for any aspiring Brazilian due to what he’s achieved in the sport.
He is the country’s fifth-highest appearance maker with 109, aiming to add a few more at the World Cup this winter.

But Endrick is smashing his own records at Palmeiras.
The attacker became the club’s youngest-ever player by making his senior debut earlier in the season.
Going one step further, he netted on just his third outing, making him Palmeiras’ youngest-ever scorer.
Take Silva’s word, Endrick, Stamford Bridge is the place to be.
