Arsenal now make contact to sign former Chelsea player

Arsenal have reportedly made an approach to acquire Chelsea legend Eden Hazard.

According to Media Foot, the Gunners are going after the depleted Real Madrid forward this month.

Hazard might jump at the chance of returning to London, even if it’s to the North rather than the South West.

The Belgian international has spent and suffered nearly half a decade in Spain, with only really a ridiculous injury record to show for it.

Madrid fans have heard more about his physical issues than match-changing moments since his move from Stamford Bridge in 2019.

He has played 73 times and scored just seven goals in nearly four seasons at the Bernabeu.

His fragile figure is nothing but a shadow of the sparkling ray of energy that Chelsea were fortunate enough to harness for so many years.

There weren’t many better during the 32-year-old’s period as a Premier League player.

Whilst Fabregas might be so precise with his passing, this statement turned out to be way off the mark.

Hazard now has zero chance at winning the esteemed individual award, having once been in the running whilst still wearing blue.

But despite his major downgrade, Arsenal are apparently still eager to land the attacker’s services.

Perhaps Mikel Arteta believes he can perform a miracle on the once magical performer.

After all, he’s already dragged Granit Xhaka from the dirt, and saved Martin Odegaard from his misery in Madrid.

Whilst it would feel wrong for Hazard to pull on the red and white jersey, if it meant his powers were restored, we are all for it.
