Arsenal are reportedly exploring a potential move to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Pedro Neto, who’s recently been linked as a Chelsea target.
It was claimed last week that Chelsea have the 22-year-old Wolves player in their sights as a potential target. Apparently, they’re one of the clubs alerted to the fact that the winger could be prized away from Molineux Stadium for the right price.
According to The Athletic, Premier League leaders Arsenal are the club potentially making moves for Neto.
It is explained that the Gunners will make the Portugal international their top target if current player Nicolas Pepe departs the Emirates Stadium.
The report adds there’s discussions ongoing right now at Arsenal about the financial element of any deal for the Wolves ace, who’s represented by super agent Jorge Mendes. There’s been talks ongoing for more than a month, too.

Arsenal exploring Pedro Neto move
It sounds like Arsenal are the most likely to step up interest in Neto.
Chelsea’s links to the Wolves left-footer seem tentative right now, so it’ll be interesting to see how it unfolds in the final two weeks of the transfer window.

Neto, who’s started the opening three games of the Premier League season for Wolves, is a very exciting young player.
The skilful winger has every trick in the book to go along with great pace, directness and work rate.
Unfortunately, the youngster really needs to really improve his end product to really elevate his game to new heights.
Described as “incredible” last year by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, he has the potential to be someone special if he can piece all the pieces together.
