Atalanta have reportedly set their asking price for left-back Robin Gosens, with Chelsea among several interested parties.
Chelsea have been heavily linked with several left-backs this season, as the position has arguably been one of the weak links under Frank Lampard.
The manager appeared uncertain over his first-choice left-back, having even deployed Cesar Azpilicueta to fill in on a few occasions.
Earlier this month, 90min claimed Chelsea have been monitoring Atalanta’s Gosens as an alternative to Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell.
The report said that the latter would still be Chelsea’s ideal signing, but they are also exploring alternatives as they are aware Leicester will likely demand a huge fee.
According to a report from Tuttomercato, Atalanta consider Gosens’ value exceed €20million (£17.8m) and would demand €25m-30m (£22.2m-26.7m) to let the full-back leave this summer.
The report also said Chelsea are not the only club interested in the German, with Inter Milan, Leicester City, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt and Schalke having him on their shortlist.
The 25-year-old has had a remarkable record for a full-back, with eight goals and five assists across all competitions this season.
He has two years left (until 2022) on his contract with the Serie A side, having joined from Eredivisie’s Heracles Almelo in 2017.
