Spanish giants Barcelona are reportedly preparing a bid for Chelsea attacker Willian in the summer.
According to the Sun, Champions League semi-finalists Barcelona are lining up a £30million offer for him ahead of the summer transfer window.
The report details that Barcelona failed with a cash-plus-player deal for Willian back in January, but are now back in the hunt for his signature.
Blues manager Maurizio Sarri has used Willian regularly this season, but he is approaching the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge.
The 30-year-old winger is renowned for his pace and trickery, something which has seen him play 289 times since he moved to West London back in 2013.
He has won a ton of silverware during his time in England and persistent interest from Barcelona does highlight his quality.
Willian has made 53 appearances this season across all competitions, scoring eight goals and supplying 14 assists in return.
But he is guilty of inconsistency and there have been times that he’s highly criticised by supporters.
Chelsea will need to consider what options they have ahead of next season before making a decision on the potential Willian bid and perhaps the outcome of the club’s appeal of a transfer ban will impact it.
