Report: Bayern Munich could take advantage of Chelsea's pursuit of Achraf Hakimi
Chelsea’s reported interest in Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi could pave the way for Bayern Munich to finally land Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to German outlet Kicker.
As many have also reported before, Kicker claims that Chelsea, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, have already made a €60million (£51.5m) offer for Hakimi.
The report also added that the offer is still below Inter’s €80m (£68.7m) demand for the wing-back — but the reported bid indicates a clear interest for the London side.
An earlier report from The Guardian mentioned how two Chelsea talents; Hudson-Odoi and Tino Livramento could leave the club if Hakimi arrives at Stamford Bridge.
While The Guardian claims Hudson-Odoi would like to stay at his boyhood club, the report also suggests that Chelsea would be open to offers for the winger.
Bayern, according to Kicker, could take advantage of this development.
Hudson-Odoi has played in multiple positions under Thomas Tuchel, but he might certainly not be needed as a right wing-back option anymore should Hakimi join.
They also highlighted how Bayern have had multiple attempts to sign the England international in the last few years.
