Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is reportedly wanted by Premier League outfit Burnley.
According to the Daily Mail, Burnley are keen on signing the 19-year-old in the January transfer window.

He is currently thriving out on loan at Championship side Charlton Athletic, but it’s understood that Chelsea have the option to recall him in the New Year.
The report doesn’t specify if Burnley want to take Gallagher to Turf Moor on a temporary of permanent basis.

Chelsea certainly shouldn’t entertain the idea of selling their rising star, as he could have a big future at Stamford Bridge and perhaps be the latest academy star to break into Frank Lampard’s squad.
But if Burnley want the England Under-21 International on loan for the rest of the season, it’s something that the Blues should definitely consider.
The central midfielder has been starring in the Charlton team so far this campaign, scoring six goals and supplying three assists in return.

But half a season of Premier League football under his belt would help prepare him for the Chelsea first-team and help speed up his development.
He’s a deep-lying playmaker that is so strong in possession, but is a goal threat too when he bursts forward.
Burnley should be an attractive loan destination for Gallagher if he is guaranteed regular minutes for them and he looks good enough to make the step up to the top-flight.
