Juventus have reportedly reached out to Jorginho’s camp to suss out whether or not he could be prized away from Chelsea.
This is according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim contact has been made between the Old Lady and the entourage of the mature midfielder.
Would Jorginho jump ship?
Although there is little evidence to suggest Jorginho will leave Stamford Bridge soon, a move back to his homeland cannot be entirely ruled out.
After all, the 30-year-old’s contract with the Champions League holders runs out next June.

By the summer, another scenario could unfold like the one currently involving Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta.
Plus, Jorginho is adored in his native land, thanks to his contribution toward Italy’s European Championship last summer.
He has won over quite a lot of English supporters in the past 12 months or so, yet the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year still divides some sections of the fan base.
Young blood coming up hot
Also, Chelsea are already looking ahead to the future in terms of rebuilding their midfield.
Aurelien Tchouameni is still heavily on the club’s radar, whilst the Evening Standard suggested that Conor Gallagher could be implemented as cover for N’Golo Kante.
Then there’s the matter of deciding what to do with Billy Gilmour, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Saul Niguez.

Meanwhile, Jorginho is slowly ageing and may view the wave of young talent as a threat to his crown.
Joining Juve might be the last, big move of his career.
Still juice left in Jorginho’s tank
Of course, the £50m (BBC) arrival from Napoli still offers plenty of value to this current Chelsea team.
Just a few weeks ago, Ally McCoist raved about his performance against Tottenham Hotspur in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.
“The two boys in front of the back four, (Mateo) Kovacic and Jorginho, ran the game. They were excellent,” said the talkSPORT pundit.
Yet, as the days tick by and fresh faces enter through the Stamford Bride front door, Jorginho would be excused for wanting to find the fire exit.
