Chelsea are reportedly interested in Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
According to Interlive.it, the San Siro hierarchy will have to fend off interest from the European champions this summer for Skriniar.
Surveying Skriniar’s skills
The Croatia international is set to be the hot topic of transfer discussions at the end of the season, with many clubs apparently interested in acquiring his signature.
His Inter contract expires in 2023, meaning the next few months could be pivotal if he has plans to remain part of the Italian side’s squad.

Simone Inzaghi will certainly not want to lose the 27-year-old, following a fine season at the heart of the Nerazzurri’s rearguard.
He has only missed four games across the entire campaign as Inter push towards a second successive Serie A title.
Their pursuit of domestic glory took a significant step on Sunday by beating Juventus 1-0 away from home.
Key to the result was Skriniar, who rallied against and denied Juve’s attackers for the majority of the match.
Take away the centre-back and Inter are certainly weakened.
On the flip side, drop him into another team and their defence instantly improves.
Making a move for Milan
Chelsea might need to swoop for Skriniar if they bid farewell to several members of Thomas Tuchel’s camp.
Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger could both leave at the end of the term as free agents once their contracts run out.
Christensen is seemingly on his way to Barcelona, whilst Rudiger has no shortage of suitors ready to snap him up.
A hole in the wall will need filling if one or either set sail from Stamford Bridge.
As fillers go, Skriniar could definitely cover some of the cracks left behind.
But his services won’t come cheap.

How does £55m (TMW) sound for the former Sampdoria star?
This figure probably would’ve been lower had Chelsea attempted to sign the centre-half last year, when Romelu Lukaku reportedly recommended his former teammate to Tuchel’s employers.
However, the Blues cannot even begin to strike a deal with Inter for Skriniar until they find out the identity of their new owner.
The wait goes on…
